Learning 2006

I just got back from Masie’s http://www.learning2006.com. This being the first learning conference I’ve been to (that I didn’t have to work at), I have a lot of learnings I’m pouring over in my internal work blog. I’ll likely cross-post several items I’m thinking about, but at a high level, here’s what I picked up:

* Repositories can radically shift the whole nature of how content management and acquisition works.

* Federated “Google-type” search for on-demand learning is the most important thing I can deliver to our learners that will impact their “fingertip knowledge.”
